The Bulldog 50K/25K Trail Runs are nearing full capacity.  Mail in entry is already closed and online entry is expected to close in the next week.  A notice will be posted on the website once the races close and there will be NO EXCEPTIONS for runners who miss the deadline; repeat "NO EXCEPTIONS", so if you really want to run the 20th Anniversary Bulldog Trail Runs, dont wait another day to register.

Please use the next couple of weeks to plan your CARPOOLING for the Bulldog Runs on August 27.  We always have more runners than actual parking spaces at the race site.  A good place to post carpool requests is on the Bulldog Facebook Group  https://www.facebook.com/groups/130532148392/.

The Bulldog 50K Ultra Run is the RRCA Regional Championship 50K Race.  Special RRCA awards and $50. gift certificates will be awarded to Overall Male/Female, Master Male/Female, Grand Master Male/Female, and Senior Master Male/Female!  Additionally, all 50K and 25K Age Division top threes will receive Sponsor donated gifts from Moeben, Injinji, Fuel Belt, Superfeet.

Races such as the Bulldog would not be possible without the generous help of our volunteers.  Not only do the race organizers depend on you... the runners benefit greatly from your positive energy and inspiration!  It is well known that Trail Run Events have the best volunteers in the business!

~~~~ LAST BULLDOG RACE COURSE PREVIEW RUN~~~~

Saturday, August 13                                              

TIME: 7:00AM. Please note that these are UNSTRUCTURED/UNSUPPORTED RUNS on the Bulldog race course. People just meet up at 7:00AM and form groups to run with.

LOCATION: Corner of Las Virgenes Road and Mulholland Highway. This is outside of MCSP.

DIRECTIONS:

~Exit the 101 at Las Virgenes Rd.
~Go south.
~Park at the corner of Las Virgenes and Mulholland Dr.
~Parking is free on the corner.
~Note: Can also be reached from PCH.

MILEAGE: 16.5 very hilly miles.

WATER/TOILETS: Available at mile 13.9 only. You must carry enough fluids, calories and electrolytes to sustain you through 14 very hilly miles.

SUPPORT: THESE TRAINING RUNS ARE UNSUPPORTED. Please print and carry the course directions for navigating the route. THERE WILL BE LITTLE TO NO COURSE MARKINGS; YOU ARE RUNNING AT YOUR OWN RISK! Suggest forming groups for safety.

COURSE MARKING: There will be little to no course marking. A very few orange surveyor ribbons have been tied at significant turning points. The ribbons are off to the side so you need to look for them at turns. The ribbons may or may not have been removed by hikers. Best to print and carry the course directions.
