Elaine Smith: Thanks for all the hard work you and your volunteers put into the race. It was a great run, well-organized and well-sponsored, A very challenging course!!! We were so lucky to have such fabulous running weather. Thanks a lot again....hope to see you next year. (And if you do, I may train specifically for this event and race for a faster time!)
Ellen K.: Ahoy you two: Once again, the VCHM was a huge success! This year I decided to run it and am glad I did because, not only did I get the very first VCHM finishers medal, but I finally won second place in my division. :-) And I also won a raffle prize - a lovely set of body wash, conditioner and lotion. I never leave your race empty-handed. Its great to see the race continuing to grow every year. [Just wish the course was a tad easier!] Hope to catch up with you on a Sunday run while youre out here.
Peggy Kern: I just want to take a moment to thank you for making the Valley Crest Half Marathon an awesome experience. The run itself was amazing, and you did a really great job organizing everything and supporting the runners. I also appreciate that you were sensitive to the runners needs, including starting things a few minutes late to allow people to arrive or use the restroom before the run, and recognizing that it was cool after the run and thus pushing through the awards. Im sure organizing people to run such a race is very challenging, and I think everything was well-done. I really enjoyed the morning and look forward to coming back next year. Kevin: Dear Nancy: Had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect. The people were warm and friendly, made me proud to live in the Valley. Also enjoyed our little gathering on the grass after the race. On top of all that I finished in 121 minutes. If I was a week and a half older and a minute or two faster, I would have finished third in the 55-60 division. You all did a great job, looking forward to the results later in the week.
