A hilly mountain trail half marathon on historic Mulholland fire road in the Santa Monica Mountains will treat runners to beautiful spring foliage and magnificent vistas of the San Fernando Valley. The race is held in early June, and typically has cool, overcast weather. The course is entirely on city-maintained fire roads, with aid stations approximately every 3.0 miles.

VALLEY CREST COURSE PREVIEW RUNS:
All runs start at 8:00 AM from the Top of Reseda, 3600 Reseda Blvd. Please arrive early to park and meet at the white line in the street for an on-time start.
Training runs will be at Marvin Braude Mulholland Gateway Park and will begin at 8:00am. You will have the option of running the first seven miles of the course, the last six miles of the course, or you may run the entire 13 miles. The course will not be marked and you must carry enough fluid for your entire run. Race Management assumes no responsibility for your safety on these runs; you are running at your own risk!
